Whenever I saw this base sweatshirt in the studio inventory- it always reminded me of prep schools & country clubs.. kinda like the “boonies” - middle of nowhere (but still more populated than “the sticks”)
One day I was looking for fabrics and found this super thick, heavyweight cotton, it had prints of these old fashioned scenes all over it.. it made me think of my Abuelos farm, and Huckleberry Finn vibes.

I kind of grew to love it- this fabric was so unique, and yet so “out there”.

I knew I had to run with it:

With much of everything in this life - it is up for interpretation,
However to me, with the contrasting scenes, subtle pops of color, flowers, this piece represents finding beauty, planting seeds, and growing flowers everywhere you go.

For flowers are the fruit of work, our consistency, persistence. They are a token of beauty, accomplishment, growth. Each one is different, and each path is uncertain- but for that moment, when those true colors come to fruition-
